Why would you spend £35 on being a cafc member if you are already a season ticket holder ..it’s a nonsense . As for pet membership do me a bleedin favour. I’d like to see player activity rather than all this crap to be honest .
I haven't heard about this. A separate scheme from Valley Gold I assume. Must admit, I'm not taken with the idea of membership schemes, or other things that offer perks and the like in exchange for a subscription. It's divisive, albeit in a very mild and unintentional kind of way. Even with Valley Gold, I feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes saying I'm not part of it. Like that makes me a 'second class' supporter in some way. All Charlton fans are equal in my view. None are more equal than others.
Nearly 9000 ST sold ...memberships being bought for babies kids teenagers adults and pets ...we are racking it in . Just need a hint even a slight link with a player but up to now nothing at all. If it’s a couple of frees and 5 loans I won’t be happy
It appears to be just another way to trouser a few quid from the supporters. I cannot see much benefit of being a member, particularly if you have a season ticket.
Perhaps it's primarily targeted at fans who don't by ST's then. If we sell 10,000 season tickets there are probably just as many again who'll come to a few home games and buy tickets on the day. I don't know. Just guessing. I haven't looked at the offer.
