I was at the Valley saturday and must say that apart from Kasper we need some hard work on the training ground!! the set peice defending was s***! which is suprise as big Wes should be taking charge in there. The second big point is that were so one dimensional and predictable going forward (except for Knockeart) which is why I cannot understand for the life of me I cant see why he doesn't start!! King/James/Drinkwater can move the ball around but then they have no options in the final third. The amount of time De Laet got forward then cut inside and ended up goin back was outrageous. I think Nige needs to swallow his pride and go with a 442 next game of: Kasper, De Laet, Moore, Wes, Schlupp, Knockeart, King, Drinkwater, Dyer, Wood and Vardy. IMO this is the team based on creativity and form that deserve to start.
knockaert not starting to keep him out the shop window with all players seemingly having a value? Just a conspiracy theory...
I just think its management. Knockaert is a player that needs alot of managing and thats what I believe Nigel is doing.
Great deal of sense here Smoking ... as I posted on another thread we don't seem to be able to get going from the start of games and often only start to look dangerous after he has been forced into changes ... Knockaert and Dyer are the only players who can make that bit of difference by taking opposition defenders out ...
???????? Don't really understand what you mean? Surely It's bad management to leave out of the starting line up one of the best and certainly one of the most creative players we have? In my opinion Pearson has got to move on from his 'robotic & rigid' approach.
In the short term I agree but in the long term Knockaert will be better for it 2nd season syndrome and all that. Plus we don't know how Knockaert has been physiologically since his peno
