Charlton boss ponders permanent move for QPR star By Jacob Murtagh Nov 19 2011 inShare Hogan Ephraim Image 2 CHARLTON boss Chris Powell admits he's considering making a bid to bring Hogan Ephraim to the League One leaders on a permanent basis. The on-loan QPR winger made his Charlton debut as a second-half substitute in this afternoon's win at Brentford. Ephraim will stay at the Valley until January, and Powell says he is pondering making the move permanent when the transfer window reopens in the new year. When asked about whether he wants to keep the winger, Powell said: âMaybe. It is very early, he has settled in very well. It is about game time and him expressing himself within our team and joining into our team effort. âHe did that today, he got on the field in difficult circumstances and played his part, so that was good. âWe have to see what he is thinking and what QPR are thinking after the six weeks it is a chance for him to get some game time and express what he showed for QPR last season. âHe is a good talent and it would be good to see him in a red shirt and his time might come quite soon now.
