Inspired by Bexleyboy's thread on ITTV announcing that Charlton had won the Championship Performance of the Week award for our 1-2 away win at Blackbrn Rovers I decided to add a new section (6) to the season stats for 2019-20.

Honours and Awards (both won and nominated for)

I thought it would be good to keep a record of things we win during the season - performance of the week, manager of the month... anything of that nature.

 

Still not sure that Conor Gallagher is a def mid?....

 

That's his position according to Transfermarkt.
They do say he can also play central mid and right midfield.

 

11th August update;

Attendance: 17,848 (2,340 from Stoke)

 

Transfer market is a load of crap. Connor Gallagher is an attacking midfielder. My nephew is a staunch Chelsea fan and he goes to a number of U23 games. He is definitely an attacking midfielder.

I have added a new table; Championship progress compared to previous seasons.

This is laid out in a similar fashion to tables done before while we were in League One, but shows Charlton's progress for every 2nd tier season back to (and including) our 1997-98 season which ended with the unforgettable Old Wembley play-off Final.

I hope members will enjoy comparing our progress under Lee Bowyer with our seasons under previous managers.
