Ladies and Gentleman... Please cast your votes from the following choices-

    1. Mr Jonathan Ackworth (Emiritus Professor of Charlton related bullshit)

    2. Mr Ben Hayes (lifelong porcine toady and cardigan clad lover of all things Richard Murray)

    3. Mrs Paul May. Aka-Reamsofsh1t. Last seen lurking outside the karzis at Cardiff, having a hand shandy.

i went reams, cos he's always there when i need a laugh.

whenever i feel down, angry or upset. i go on ittv and read his posts. then everything is ok again, my doors are intact and i feel safe in the knowledge that with him scouting the estonian third division on behalf of the rest of us, our club will be safe

Ol' beer gut has provided many laughs for all and his meeting with Katrien has won it for me. Jon has been his wacky self and Mr Hayes has been as pompous as ever.and they come in second and third respectively.

Also when reams said he was prepared to sit down with Roland and Katrien was most amusing. He must make a mean batch of moonshine!

Really shocked that you as a mod are engaged in this thread.
You made the decision that he was banned from the forum due to his issues isn't that enough?
JA isn't able to answe back and however you want to cut it, he is being bullied.
Do you really need to participate in this?
Seriously mate take a look at yourself, you are better than this.

Reams on the other hand deserves all he gets.

I think Super is alluding to Reams, Chippy, and the fact that he lives in Wales and rarely gets to the matches.

The point remains that a thread is started by a regular and then joined in by a mod where the op is mocking of someone (JA) who for all his faults isn't malicious ( unlike Reams). Possibly fair enough if he is given the right of reply, but to ban him and still take the piss out of him is IMO out of order.

I don't want to fall out with anyone about it but I think a bit more thought should be given to the effect these wum posts have on someone who is a bit vulnerable. If a mod isn't here to make sure posts and threads are appropriate what are they here for? Picking on those who mean us no harm for no reason than they are different is bullying.

I know Nick is a fan of JA, as he has previously gone out of his way to private message me to ask for his return and spoken up for him through different forms of social media.

Unless I've horribly misread the tone, I saw it as nothing other than a bit of tongue in cheek.

And as ponders says, I was alluding to reams.

I am a big fan of Ackers, and have spent 10 years defending him on forums including the club's marvellous and much missed (not least by me) Your Views message board.

Jon is a thoroughly genuine bloke, albeit a little misguided at times.

There are many wonderful "Reams moments" to marvel at in the last 12 months.

    1. His Rumpole-like defence of rapist Ched Evans ("she asked for it")
    2. His 360 degree U turns on Peeters, Duchatelet and Luzon. Not to mention CAST.
    3. His Damascene conversion to the attributes of sophirist Katrien Meire when she asked him for directions to the Ladies at Cardiff
    4. His overnight conversion into Wrexham's very own Henry Kissinger when CAST arranged the public meeting..."I have been invited to sit at the top table"

And if all of this was not enough, his regular threads berating Charlton's poor home attendances and lack of atmosphere.....when he himself only attends the Kid For A Quid game each season (he qualifies for the discount based on his intellect).

Have to agree with Leftbehind it is time to stop reacting to what he posts on his Forum. Frankly I am bored rigid with it all.All i want to do is post about Football. But I keep on getting embroiled into a tit for tat argument. I am sixty one years of age. I left School forty four years ago.

I'd love to be posting about football, but there's nothing occurring on that front. They say the devil makes work for idle hands.

    Thank you, Dan. :emoticon-0111-blush

I wouldn't say I'm the funniest person online, but I'm definitely in the top one.
