A terrific result today and a game I was wary of. And we could afford to miss a penalty. Anyone manage to be there. Did we play well. Come on you blues.
Would have to agree with you there canary. Everyone down there seems to be finding results. Mick has got is playing properly and not a moment to soon. All makes the championship the most entertaining and unpredictable league in the country.
completely forgot it was at 1, got home at 3 from work ready to listen to the second half. read the twtd match report and seems like we deserved our win, so i'm absolutely delighted. it puts our xmas schedule back on track and if we can win at wolves on saturday we go into the brighton game looking up to mid table and maybe even beyond if we beat brighton.
sounds very much like we deserved it today, game of two halves though.... Only 1,300 at the Valley, quite disappointing ! I remember going 3 or 4 years ago, and we took over double that!
You should know, mate, you're on the 'boro board that much I'm surprised you haven't changed your user name to posh-dave...
Hope you've had a good Christmas, Dave, myself and Mrs Welly are about to get stuck into an 80% proof bottle of absinthe, if any of you Budgies have got a spare liver, I may be needing one in the morning!
I've never tried absinthe welly, but this year I have tried sambuca for the first time, it's a very moreish drink and mixes with all sorts of different things! After several years of imbibing Scotland's finest, I'm not sure my liver would be of much use to anyone, but you're welcome to try welly! Happy new year to you and Mrs. welly and all your fellow Townies!
Absinthe is the bollocks, Dave, you've got to try it! Happy New Year to you and your's, hopefully( and with a bit of luck) you'll do Posh and we'll do Villa and we'll get you lot at home in the 4th Rnd of the FA Cup... Would be awesome!
Absinthe? Who are you, Toulouse-Lautrec, Welly? At least we can see where all the Canary action is - it's certainly not here or the City board!
One swallow doesn't make a summer, we will lose Campbell soon, but then again we have the opportunity to bring players in too...
Henning Berg has been sacked so that could be Bradley Orr back at Blackburn too. McCarthy may know what he's doing but past managers have been hindered in their attempts by Clegg.
And i thought we had it bad with managers.. Blackburn is definitely one poisoned chalice. No-one in thier right minds would want to take that job on... On that note, i'd give it Keano!!
