Son of teddy playing for Dartford scored 2 i noticed in the non league paper ,ive seen him a few times when with welling a few years back i think he could do a decent job for us and we could snap him up at around 100k come on chris powell hes right on our doorstep
£100k would be a ridiculous spend on a player at that level. He hasn't made the step up from Welling from a few years ago, that tells you all you need to know. No way.
i say give the bloke a chance,ok its only dartford and didnt mcdonald come from their and went on to norwich?and was if i remember prolific at gillingham last year ,these non league players are in hot form and definetly worth snapping up even at a fee of 100k i think our new owners can afford that having spent 16 new transfers over the summer my view we got give these players a breakthrough sherringham is a pain in the ass up front for dartford and i see why he couldnt step up to lge one level.
He's a good player for the Blue Square South but thats as far as it goes with him There is much better quality available at that level than him (i.e. Pugh and Cumbers of Welling scored 50 goals between them last season and Adam Birchall scored 40 alone for Dover)
He's more of a playboy than his dad- more interested in shagging a reality tv star than plying his trade as a footballer. Resounding no from me.
