http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/7672936/Limited-damage With our goal difference, four more points may well be enough. Going to be close though.
I can't see it tbh. If you take Wigan's last two games as won then that put's them ahead of us in that scenario. You're then left hoping that Bolton won't pick up 7 points in 6 games, 5 of them against teams with nothing really to play for. 6 points minimum for me and fingers crossed.
Charlie Nicholas is a poor pundit. I can't see it. I am certain Wigan will win their last 2 games (at least) and Bolton will climb out
Wigan will win their last 2 and might get a point before that. i think 6 is the minimum which means it could virtually be over if we dont beat Spurs.
Will Wigan or Bolton slip up? - no sign of it at the minute - in fact quite the opposite. I think we may need seven, which is bloody tight. It probably means we have to beat Spurs and Stoke and draw at Chelsea or ManC. If we lose on Saturday, we're stuffed unless Wigan or Bolton do us a favour - still, anything can happen at this stage of the season. If we do go down, I won't be one of the fans balling his eyes out in his seat, that the media like to show. We're not Portsmouth, and if Sparky does his job right in the summer break, every Championship team will have reason to fear us.
4 points?!! - even if it's enough I'll have no need to worry about my fingernails - I'll have no fingers left
Wigan have just beaten ManU and have a game in hand on us - and some are saying 4 points will be enough for us. Can't see it myself
I think it will be enough with Bolton going down on goal difference . They are absolute crap and cant see them getting more points . I fancy us to get something at scumsea .beat spurs and draw with stoke . Fingers crossed .
Neither can I but I hope we're both wrong. To be honest if we're going into the ManC game needing a result to stay up, that is about as good as I see it ATM.
I think you have a decent shout at taking 6 points against Spurs & Stoke as your home form has been far better in recent games. Spurs appear to be in complete turmoil and I reckon are there for the taking, however they might be hurting enough after the weekend to actually make a real effort in their next game. Stoke are Stoke and at least you know what you are likely to get from them but their away form is exactly wonderful. They are still going to be tough games and QPR will need to the basic things right for most of the match to win them, but both are winnable in my opinion on current form If you lose to Spurs though, it's going to be hard to find the points against the other two in the away games.
Each game gets more important than the last. The Spurs game is the most vital this season without doubt. Having Cisse back will give us much needed talent up front - but with his unpredictable acts, he's a double edged sword
Wigan have Blackburn away then wolves at home for the last 2 games. They surely must get 6 points meaning thats what we need too.
Doesn't mean Bolton will get 7 pts though ,which they'll need if we get 4 . I think we'll get 5 and finish 4th bottom . Bolton to go down .
We have to wait and hope the Arse give them a real beating ... they have the potential to lose all four games as do we Bolton are key as they have been given by fate a long time to prep up for their games. We have to fight for 12 points
I think us beating Spurs in the way we did definitely will help. It reminds me of the WC when England were so incensed by the goal that wasn't given they ignored the root problems and then got opened up by Germany with ease once again. Now instead of focusing on the errors, Spurs will focus on the decision and losing 5-1 at Wembley to one of your biggest rivals is hard to take. They will be physically and emotionally shot.
