What a superb price to pay for such an up coming talent .. ..well done Southampton ..

    Southampton sign Austin from QPR
Southampton sign QPR striker Charlie Austin in a deal reported to be worth £4m.

Makes something of just how erratic pricing is

Get in quick for Jay Rodriguez due to be back from injury and get him on loan as he will likely be pushed down the starting list.

Undoubtedly a great player, but allegedly has a nasty habit of shagging his team-mates' wives (which is why Swindon fired him out), which tends to upset the dressing room a bit. Maybe that accounts for his bargain price tag(?)

only 4m, wow, makes 6-9m for Gayle and Gray sound rediculous.

Funny enough I just said to my missus who works in Waitrose and has a space in the car park that the soup on special offer is very good value..its uncanny how we live such similar lives..

when you compare Austin, Championship, to Dack first Div, £4m and £1.5m would seem about right

However the most valuable player in the championship ( ref footballs glasses guide) is Jordan Rhodes followed by Fer , Sandro and Hernandez all over £5m Gray is valued at £5m....
Kodija is valued at £1.75m in a squad loosely valued at the Same price as Rhodes!

First div ... massive drop .. .. top player Brayford of Sheff utd valued at £1.1m only player over £1m
    Connor Washington £600k ! Bradley Dack £330k Jake Hessenthaler £150k ...

    as a reference Hazard at £50m De Bruyne £42m Rooney £28m .. Afobe £5m Lafferty £2.1m Gayle £3m
