I had Phillip's goal at Palace as goal of the season but I'm afraid that has been passed by Adam's strike yesterday.

Yes, that Adams goal was from almost 70 yards and superb shot but it wasnt so hard and accurate than Phillips shot from 50yards. Adams shot went also in because the goalkeeper was too much out of his goal line. Palace goalkeeper did nothing wrong with that Phillips shot.

If Courtois hadn't been off his line, or 'sweeping' as they call it these days, Adam would never have gone for it. It was a brilliantly executed piece of opportunism to get the height, bend and accuracy on the ball as well as generate the power from 59 yards with no run-up.

Phillips' goal was a great strike but he was a lot closer at 43 yards and running towards goal and generated the power as he ran up to the ball. In terms of pure skill Adam's goal is out on it's own...

I think mattys goal is better
chelseas keeper is closer to the halfway line than the goal line when the shot is hit

having said that I think zamoras goal today beats both

Bobbys goal was better than both imo.

Got to say I thought BZs goal was better than both. Took a look to check the keepers position... Great pass from Phillips, really precise finish on the run with the outside of the boot while holding off the defender... So many elements needed to be exactly right

BZ's goal better for me all day long, followed by Matty's. Barton's goal yesterday was pretty good too, by no means a simple tap in, and would have got more coverage on any other day.

Its a matter of an opinion but you and the media seem to choice adams goal because of the distant. In my opinion
Phillips goal is the best because the goalkeeper had no chance to get it. Mind you Bobbys goal yesterday was in some opinion maybe the best of all....

I think it's fair to say that all three goals mentioned on here, Adam, Philips and Zamora are examples of a goal that you'd have great difficulty repeating more than say 1 in 20 times, all great efforts and all had the element of luck you need for them to come off, just enjoy them...

Its obviously Adam's. If Adam played for QPR, everyone on here would be saying it was the best <doh>

Was going to say exactly the same. OBZ 1 Phillips 2 Adams 3. Maybe we can score another beauty before the end of the season to gives us a clean sweep!

Natty' shot resulted in the ball not even spinning in flight......that was really strange. I still like that shot. Bobby's too was worldly.

Did my eyes deceive me or did Barton score with his left foot (or left cloven hoof)? Truly remarkable.

Adam's goal was great but the keeper was so far off his line it was basically scoring an open goal, Phillips was genuinely better as he had to get it off the underside of the bar to beat the keeper!
