Charlie Adam tries to break Bale's leg - again!

  1. Why is that thug permitted to play against us? What is his problem with Bale?

We were all over 'Pool like a rash in Baltimore, and if we'd had a decent striker (or two) we'd have won that match comfortably.

'Pool had to resort to dirty tactics to stop us.

    Appalling stuff.

Entirely agree, as I've put on another thread. When are the authorities going to do something about that low life sack of ****e?
If he's not brought to book very soon, his thuggery is going to end up putting Gareth, or some other poor sod out of the game, permanently!
We'd have loved a player like him on a Rugby pitch - the ****er would have gone off on a stretcher if he started that nonsense.

I think he was just trying to take him down cynical as he breezed past him but he caught him awkwardly cos he's a clumsy twat. It wasn't the only time a Liverpool player took one of ours down cynically, or even the only time he took someone out cynically in the game but they were just taking advantage of refs in friendlies being unlikely to get their cards out. It'll be the same as last season when they got two sent off if they do it again in the league.

    Adam is definitely a **** though <ok>

Adam is a limited donkey, he has injured Bale before, not to mention breaking Modrats leg when playing for Blackpool.

Loserpool players do try to target Bale, they gave him a few (unpunished) clatterings at Klanfield last season as well.

You`d think the gapped tooth Jock would get some new teeth with all the money Liverpoo are wasting on him.

    Are you thinking about Skrtel?

My memory of the match was Bale auditioning for Tom Daley's place in Team GB.

You didnt watch the game did you.....Aside from Adam there were not dirty tactics.......And maybe you need to have a look at how you dealt with Sterling on a few occassions. The match was very equal with very little cutting edge from either side... The match showed very little.

Bale has taken the occasional dive (but hardly under every challenge like Suarez, or without any contact like Gerrard), but he only does it because he gets absolutely no protection from referees, particularly at grounds like Klanfield.

If Suarez goes down under every challenge, why does he have such good stats for beating people one on one? Quality information from a barfly..hasnt happenned yet....(although im not saying Suarez doesnt go down easy sometimes.)

Rather him doing that auditioning for the starring role in "David Busst: My Story" As I recall the diving started after Skirtl had put Bale into the advertising hoardings and narrowly missing him with a "career altering" tackle. You were not and are not good enough to stop Bale any other way. That a once great club like Liverpool has come to this. But of course, you will brush it off as paranoia.

Why is Suarez diving after he makes a horrendous tackle?

well, I did watch the game - the tackling was woeful and was summed up when Gerrard got a yellow for a needless foul to stop Spurs breaking with a few minutes to go.

Yes, some of the tackles by Spurs players were not great - but Adam's was shocking, yet again proving that he is a a thug masquerading as a less than average footballer

If heaven forbid Adam ends Bale's career and Bale took him to court, he could offer quite a bit of evidence showing intent and premeditation. It's a shame none of that is taken into account *before* Adam does some serious damage. Yes he is a thug but it does seem he reserves special treatment for Bale and I'm not sure why.

As for the match analysis..it was a dire affair..both teams were frustrating to watch and had i had anything to do i would have switched it off and done it.

As for Adams....the fact that Pool fans recognise his demeanour says it all..the guy is appaling and i was not shy in expressing my dislike for that man.

gerrards was unnecessary, but nothing that wasnt done to Sterling on several occassions.....tit for tat I would say...Adam as we know is shocking in defence.

    What's new about Liverpool choppers?
I go back aways and can remember the years of Shankly. He got players who would stop at nothing to get a result.
Big Yeats would put his man in the stands.Tommy Smith would take your legs and mail them to you in the morning!
Sure, they had a couple of good players who were well looked after by the big boys if you threatened to tackle them.....
......mind you,Leeds weren't much better! But scare tactics won them a lot of trophies.
