Kevin Maguire of The Mirror posted something on Twatter a few weeks ago about a funeral and succession being planned for within 12 months. I hope he's wrong although I acknowledge it comes to us all.

It's an odd one, mate. Superficially it could be worse than they let on, but they always plan for royal funerals and succession, so at the same time it could just be normal planning and people putting 2+2 together and getting 5. A mate of mines brother was in the army and took part in a rehearsal for the Queen mother's funeral a few years before she died, in fact Diana's funeral was based on the Queen Mother's funeral plans. They rehearse them at least once a year. But the cancer, it's treatment and other stresses such as his idiot brother could be taking more out of him than has been said.

I'll also add, for balance, the Kevin Maguire is quite an outspoken republican so it could be mischief from him as well.
