That lad played a blinder today, too good for Wigan. If anyones got what it takes to keep them up its him, and if they go down (providing we stay up) i'd have im back in a heartbeat. Hes the kind of creative midfielder we need, someone who runs at people and keeps them guessing. Jonas does but isnt consistant enough and it wouldnt be fair to pass judgement on Ben Arfa yet. I reckon we could snag him back for about 5mill, providing he'd want to return and theres every chance of us bidding after that last minute January attempt.

Didn't like the way he left, so wouldn't have him back, but if he came back I'd get behind him and support him as he'd be playing for Newcastle United.

 

I think he'd be too arrogant to come back as he'd be admitting he was never good enough for Man U, Arsenal etc and end up right back in the club he left.

They need midfielders, they 2 CM's today are Lucas and Spearing, weakest centre midfield pairing I've seen for Liverpool.

 

I don't think his pride would allow him to come back, plus he knows if he's off-form the fans would turn on him for the way he kept chucking his toys out of the pram.

If he was a model-professional I'd have him in a heartbeat and I'm not saying I wouldn't want him back, I just think it may be more trouble than it's worth.
