Firstly, he should stop including Celtic when he makes his mental statements. Celtic are no longer part of the Old Firm... a tag that died and Celtic shoudl distance themselves from it/them. They are a 3rd Division team... In terms of going to England, not really where I want to see Celtic. Look at the teams that have nearly went bust chasing the dream of a top 6 finish! The EPL isn't that good ... loads of dire ****ty "non" games ... like the SPL but with more money! Aston Villa v Norwich, Wigan v Reading, Sunderland v Stoke! **** that! Imagine having to watch Celtic v Stoke?
If Celtic where to leave the SPL, I'd rather see some sort of European League set up... Pot 1/2 Champions League teams should form a super league competition... Other good team from Europe - Celtic, 4th/5th/6th from Spain/Germany, 3rd/4th from France, Top 2/3 from Holland, 3rd/4th from Portugal, 5th/6th/7th from England etc - could maybe form a second tier league. Throw in the top teams from Scandinavia as well. Just now - get some cross border cup competitions going i.e. merge SLC and ELC.
I think I mostly agree with Mr Pud's first post. I am not sure on the second one...so many factors at play there. But mostly, Chico should shut his Lancastrian face and concentrate on his own club instead of trying to build a name for them off the back of the mighty hoops.
I agree that Chuckles shoud concentrate on his own club and stop including Celtic in his rants, imagine the furious outcry if Pistol Pete kept mentioning the Rangers every time he spoke about his plans for Celtic.
Celtic should relocate to their homeland, The Republic Of Ireland. They are an Irish club, always have been and always will be.
