    New date to be rearranged

It is with deep regret that tomorrow's charity match at the Memorial Stadium between Bristol Rovers Legends and Bristol City Legends has been postponed.

After the result and relegation of Bristol Rovers on Saturday the organisers do not think it would be in the interest of the charities to hold the event so soon afterwards.
They hope to arrange a new date later this month, details of which will be posted on their website www.kickingoutforkids.org.uk

if we were relegated a month ago then tomorrow would have gone ahead. but its very raw where it only happened yesterday. im sure both sets of fans would behave themselves but it only takes 1 person to say something stupid. could be a harmless bit of banter and someone could snap and it wont look good for the organisers and the charities involved if there were any trouble.

right decision but its so sad that this decision even had to be made. if this gets out to the national press it would make us look even worse!
