Getting their priorities right, the Premier League are considering taking action against the Club because of Saturday's blackout. Don't suppose it has anything to do with disrupring TV schedules ??

"The Premier League confirmed on Monday night they were writing to the west London club to ask for an explanation for the blackout which caused a 10-minute hold-up to United’s 1-0 victory on Saturday.

A range of sanctions are available, including a fine, if Fulham are unable to provide a satisfactory explanation. A Premier League spokesman told Telegraph Sport: "It very much depends on the reasoning behind it."

Fulham confirmed they were conducting an internal investigation and that members of their operations team met with the company responsible for maintaining the floodlights at Craven Cottage yesterday morning.

The club refused to reveal whether they had already determined the cause of the problem but they would not face punishment if they could prove the failure was due to circumstances beyond their control."

I can understand it from the point of view that there is a tiny possibility that we did it to gain some kind of advantage. But it is a bit daft, all things said.
