Nigel Adkins has confirmed Chaplow suffered a setback and is out for a few more weeks

De Ridder came in today, played well and can certainly fill the void if he keeps it up IMO!

If he continues playing like he did today (both offensively and defensively), then I'd have no qualms with De Ridder staying in the team. And even if he doesn't, and today is just basically shown to be a flash in the pan, then we've at least got Connolly back now, so he can start and Guly can revert to right-midfield.

I'd be delighted if De Ridder wasn't in the starting 11 Friday. He is truely terrible, yes he set up the first, and yes he made that tackle on Scannell, but other than that he was truely shocking. I have never seen a right midfielder who crosses as badly as he does. It was approaching double figures the amount he sent out behind the goal. He doesn't know when to pass a ball and has terrible vision and decision making. What on earth was he doing second half when he was 18 yards out and in space running direct at goal??? Yes bring him on for the last 15 if we're in trouble or need to rest another player when clear, but today he showed why he isn't good enough to be a first team footballer.

We need a new right mid and Chappers fit.
