This is the issue with VAR though, the refs and officials no longer even try to do things right they shrug shoulders and motion to play on. It has been an absolute unmitigated disaster in my view.

Amazing that either of the linesmen didn't spot immediately that he had blown 5minutes early. He was probably using a knock-off Rolex he had bought down the market that day.
That reminds me of a mate in Bodram, bought one for about 20 Euro's then spent the rest of the holiday trying to convince everyone there was a rolex factory in Bodram and that the guys on the street sell the excess stock. By the time we got back to the UK and he had to change the time the pin fell out and the battery had died.
Bought one in Jakarta for UK mate of mine and when it stopped working he took it into a Rolex dealer to try and get it repaired.
