Personally I think Allam should leave the club name alone. Everybody has stated that you can't change the club history. Every since the argument over the name change began I've wondered what happened to the Tigers chants we sang in the lower leagues. Today at Arsenal I've realised what happened. How can CITD moan about the name change and then change the Elvis falling in love with you chant so that it finishes with Hull City Hull City instead of the old The Tigers The Tigers chant. Lets keep the name Lets Keep the chants unaltered.
It does have a certain ring to it: "City I till die, I'm City I till die, I know am I, I'm sure am I, I'm City I till die... "
I keep hearing people who've convinced themselves that no one sings the tigers any more, complete fantasy of course. And why is it, anyone who moans about CTWD always gets their name wrong?
CTWD or CTID. You ignore the point I make. Lets keep the name and keep the chants. How can you moan about Allam changing the name and history of the club and then be guilty of the changing the chants to suit your side of the argument.
CITWD is my favorite one. Also, quick point of order I'm surprised OLM hasn't pulled you up on that as the entire emotional approach of CTID is that changing the name would wipe out our entire history. So yeah, I'd say that would change it a bit. Permanently. Shame on you LMO, CWTD need another rep to keep the peasants uninformed on here.
Makes me chuckle that one. Half the ****s that sing it today were probably sat at home when the club nearly did die.
