Now, tomorrow is my first game of my 12 game trip over here, and an important question to have answered is, what are the main chants I'll need to know? My only other experience watching us live was against Milwall back in 2010 - we lost 4-0 - and I couldn't pick up any of the chants you lot were singing, and I really want to be able to join in. Anyone able to help me out with the main ones? I know we'll do the 'City Til I Die' at 19:04 but that's about it.
Just don't sing the bastardised version of of 'Paul McShane' otherwise Pez will come after you. And you don't want that. Ever.
Yeah, it's the noisiest of the three. Every stand was a bit flat last games barring a twenty minute period.
Hm, well I guess I'll have to make a bit of noise on my own then. Yeah I heard East Stand was the loudest which is why I picked it. Oh well, good to be in the noisiest part at least I suppose!
Chants are often made up from one game to the next, so it's often a case of picking up what's being sung at the time. Apart from City Til I Die and a few predictable japes aimed at the away fans such as 'We Support Our Local Team', it's hard to predict what'll be sung.
Yeah fair enough. For some reason I just really struggle to understand what's being sung most of the time. Oh well! Will just be great to be part of the atmosphere, really looking forward to it.
It's the loudest, but most of the noise comes from around E2. "City 'till I die" will probably be the most common one tomorrow, along with "we say no Allam, we say no" Other chants are "everywhere we go, everyone will know, we're Hull City", "Fly high up in the sky up in the sky we'll keep the Hull flag flying high, from Boothferry to Wembley, we'll keep the Hull flag flying high"
Haha cheers, I think I'm gonna stop by the store before the game to get a beanie and gloves, but it's the Swansea game next Monday I'm more worried about for the temp!
Every one joins in with Mauled by the tigers .... you have to stand up and pretend your a tiger clawing at someone. Have a great day ..
