Does anyone forsee a bit of a clearout of the first team coaching staff over the current three year tenure of Malkasia?
I would be surprised if quite a few didn't go, but this may depend on how much involved they were when Jones was manager. If Jones ruled with an iron fist and their advice oftn went ignored(not unlikely given some suspect decisions) then perhaps the new regime may decide they could be useful, well some of them. Then again perhaps that was seen as wa weaknes and they will be turfed out anyway. The fact they are still there gives some of them hope though.
I can see MM wanting to stamp his own mark on the club, It depends how much they were involved in 1st team matters IMO...............and how much they will cost to get rid of
I'd like to see Ardley stay but I've never been convinced by Burton - he seemed to be a bit weak to me even with his interview comments. Don't know if Margetson is still the keeper coach but if he is, we may need to change something there. We've never nailed that position recently.
He must carry the can to some extent in that those brought in by the club didn't progress further. I think the main can-carrying has to be the manager who brought them in in the first place.
MM as the first and last word in all football matters, so its his choice. But I think the Cardiff City jigsaw is coming together very nicely (if all the rumours are to be believed)
Woooossshhh! Clearly not a man to rest on his laurels. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13939316.stm
Hmmmm...............no mention of Margetson. Just realised something - we're all talking about Malky Mackay, but Margetson's first name is Martin so we've now got two MMs - is that one too many?
