just watched an interview with s bruce, and he stated that there will be several changes for wba game, about bloody time. so if he is true to his word just what are these changes going to be? will he drop some of his golden boys, several changes he stated, so jordan has to be one, but who else will also be rested. wish i knew an inside source at the club.
Looks like we might see Steve Bruce get back to basics on Saturday, according to his comments on todays Echo anyway. Likely team will be Mig Onuoha----------Turner--------------------------Mensah-------------Bardo Elmo----------------Catts---------------Steed Ricco---------------Gyan----------------Wellbeck Not sure if he'll go 4-3-3 as above but that's my guess at the probable team and formation, we had some good success with this earlier in the season so why not?
no jordan, sess or muntari, now thats big changes, not sure if he's got the bottle to drop 3 golden boys,
I think he must know that Jordan needs a break. Sess I like but he and Muntari seem to be strugging to adjust so a place on the bench is a better option. Like welders team or not we cant argue that we did OK with them so back to basics makes sense to me That said I see him keeping Sess so would go MIG NED..TURNER..MENSAH..BARDO SESS..CATTS..STEED..RICHARDSON GYAN..WELBECK
I wouldn't be dropping Sess personally... And I hate our "4-3-3" formation because as I understand it it's supposed to be "4-3-3" on the ball and "4-5-1" off it. All we ever see is "4-5-1" with a stranded Gyan looking frustrated.
i would go with: mig ned/turner/mensah/bardo elmo/sess/zenden/steeeeed gyan/wellbeck thou i think elmo plays better at RB dont think he can replace ned.
i'm hoping that ned gets a chance at c/b alongside turner, with elmo at r/b maybe mensah is one of the changes..............
Not sure where iot came from but my mate reckons Bruce has stated he is deffo going with 4-4-2 with Gyan & Wellbeck up front. Still think we'll see Ricco and Steed in there, Catts is almost a nailed on cert with the final midfield slot up for grabs which i reckon will fall to Elmo.
would like to see that as i defo think elmo is better at RB when he play RW he never hits the byline to put a cross in. think ned would do a good job CB. i like your thinking commachio
just thought i'd remind you all what team we wanted to play wba. bruce made the changes, and put out a team most were in favour off, it didn't work,
seems like most people agree we you there mate, i don't but can understand why people want it. we're totally ****e, but bruce did make the changes that we were calling out for, don't know why but it never worked. surely it can not be for lack of motivation, as the players coming in should have been playing for their places and a chance to prove they deseve a place over the golden boys
