Norwich City FC ‏@NorwichCityFC #ncfc starting 11: Bunn, R.Martin, Johnson, Bassong, Turner, Snodgrass, Howson, Holt (C), Hoolahan, Garrido, Becchio. Looks like a good starting 11.
Took me a few seconds to spot him on the team sheet tbf. I saw Howson and just presumed he was in for Wes.
Formation shows attacking intent, think removing a defensive midfielder isn't the best idea but it will hopefully work. I think it will be a 4-1-3-2 formation. Howson on the left.
Like the look of this, I assume Wes is going to move out wider to the left and Howson will play more centrally. It's an attacking team, just what we needed to see at home.
Yeah I like it, and I reckon Wes will play wider because he's done so before, but probably cut in and have license to go wherever he fancies. I'm almost glad Tettey's been dropped, he's been below-par for a while. Howson really needs to take this chance.
So it's what a lot of people were calling for - two up front with a def midfielder making way. I hope it works but I'll say now before kickoff that I prefer the dull solidity we were making do with in most games. But come on City and prove me wrong...
Just a reminder everyone that our match-day thread this week is on the Everton Board, here: http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...ton-Everton-FC-Football?p=4325433#post4325433 And true, Tettey may have an injury, but his performances of late mean that his position in the starting side has to have been questioned. I'm glad someone else has a chance.
Very harsh on everton but could well be the game which saves our season! What an impact of energy and nuisance value Kamara was
I don't want to say that Kamara changed the dynamics of them game but the game certainly changed when he came on. We actually looked hungry for the last 15 minutes, something we have not seen since the first half against Spurs. We should be okay now this season with maybe 5 more points to cement our place but we need to play more high tempo and get "in their faces" at home for much longer periods.
Not many players get inducted into the 'City hall of fame' after two brief substitute appearances, but in Kei's case.......
Great win. Hope that Hughton learns the same harsh lesson that Lambert did - two up front can win games but it firces Wes to a position that isn't his best. So unless we play a diamond ( which I believe would see us torn apart too often) Wessi will be on the bench. Big call to make next home game.
