Some may believe best to carry on till this combination clicks. Some might want a fine tune on one position , maybe two. Some might want a wholesale change for this game. Thoughts with an explaination would be appreciated....
A return to the Clubs DNA. 4-5-1. With crosses coming in from both sides Gomiss can't fail to score.................. ----------------------Fabianski----------------------- --Naughton - Williams - Fernandez - Taylor-- Routledge - Siggurdson - Ki - Shelvey - Montero ------------------------Gomis--------------------------
How about playing Gomis up front for 85 mins then do a cunning substitution for Edder ? Get Routs and Montero to keep switching wings to confuse where our attack is coming from ? Don`t pass to Siggy keeping him safe for free kicks ? Put too tight boots on JJ so it hurts if he tries to kick to hard and far ? Give Williams a spliff so he does`nt get carded ? Put Monk and Huw on grumpy sounds activated ducking stools on the touch line ? Compliment the ref on every decision he makes ? Don`t bother with corners it just wastes energy ? Get some Freddy Kruger arm extensions for Fab ? Or just try something different to show Monk cares that what he`s doing is`nt working ?
Wholesale for me . Players out for this game , Naughton, Taylor ,Siggy , Montero and Gomis. Players in ,Rangel , Tabanou ,Britton ,Routledge , Eder. Rangel will help with Ayew because , he may not get back in time , Rangel likes to get up there and over lap.Britton knows how to cover Rangels ass . Tabanou and Routlrdge should play a game or two together as part of a plan b , this is a good time to see what they can do. move Shelvey up to Siggy's spot. Eder needs to be seen for a game. Something that says "Bench players matter" , and I'll put our bench against anyone's bench frankly
