Changes ahead for Sunderland Sunderland, Latest news update: October 28, 2014 1:18 PM Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is pondering making changes to his back-line for the clash at Crystal Palace on Monday night. For me it went tits up when Brown was put back into central defence..That would be the first thing I would put right on Monday..
Yup, with vergini moving back in there. Revilliere or Mavrias at RB for me. Rest of the the team, over to Gus.
Browns form is alarming, what has happened, he was our best defender by a country mile, when he first returned from injury last season. I fully agree that he needs to be dropped, but we have so few defenders its scary, Mavrias looked OK pre season and deserves a chance. The longer you leave someone on the sidelines, the less chance he will have of being a success when he is called upon imo.
