Too little too late - the result will prove nothing as far as I'm concerned.

Will he think outside the box, and play Ayew as striker? I doubt it, but bringing Leon back in has to be a big plus as I see it, I would also like to see Rangel back in also, he may be a tad slower these days but his forward play is far better than Naughton, I would even drop Shelvey........<ok>

Was rethinking about why Monk brought Britton on against Norwich , which seemed senseless at the time .
The only thing that makes sense to me after pondering it is Monk decided , when he brought on Britton , that he was giving him a bit of time because he's going to start him the next few games.Britton and Eder are for sure changes for me .
Not sure why but I think Cork is in the dog house with Monk.
Hope he players Routledge , Tabanou and Rangel but won't hold my breath

Was thinking the same TLF. I do wonder what influence, if any, the Board have on team selection and tactics. Normally I'd hope for none but if it gets him to try something different then fine.

Rule of thumb for me ...when you have to ask a manager to bring in coaching help and or have to ask the manager to change up the line up ,it's to late....but Monk appears to be staying so I hope he picks new faces , if only to make "His Ten " hungry

If the board have to cajole Monk into making the bleedin' obviously necessary changes that every man and his dog can see are urgently warranted then the current situation is untenable. I can only hope at the very least that Monk has a light bulb moment and moves on enlightened. The only way is up? :emoticon-0107-sweat

Am I the only one who thinks Naughton is being unfairly compared to Angel for his forward play. When Angel was at his best he had a winger i.e. Dyer or Routledge to link up with Naughton doesn't. We have scored two goals this season from excellent crosses put in by him

No you're not , Naughton has had a raw deal this season , we want our full backs to overlap but who is he supposed to work with when the player concerned has gone on walkabout .You can see his indecision on when to move forward and when to stay , our attacking options from the wings has been limited to the left side only this year , you could see the difference Routledge made when he played on the right we looked we had much more of an attacking threat .

If Rangel is brought back we'll be terribly exposed. No offence to a great servant for us but the guy can't run any more.

Also... even though Naughton has no winger in front of him he's still more dynamic than Taylor, who often just stops dead and passes backwards.
