Okay it's going to be a very slow week with no football to speak about, well apart from Wales ;)

But was thinking that if you had the power to do anything at the club, what would you do that will make a difference, it can be anything you want, but only choose one thing.

For me it would be to have an Academy at our club.

agree an Academy is a must , too many players have slipped through in the past ,now we're a Premiership club that should mean that we'll be more attractive to younsters coming through. You've just got see how many kids are now wearing SCFC kit as opposed to the likes of Liverpool,Arsenal etc.Although Arsenal do hold coaching sessions weekly at Play .Com and is based on montery values it can turn a kids head regarding supporting and hopefully playing for they Home club

Have to agree, better facilities for the whole club. As I understand Landore won't be used for the 1st team as the facility will be too small.

Jager, you are correct Landore will only be for the academy. I did ready somewhere, that Brendan wanted a facility that all teams can use the facilities, along the same lines as Barcelona's. He wants the youngsters to train along side all the players. I feel that this is the right way to go. The Landore facility as we all now has dragged along for two years nearly. Is there room at Velindre for a decent facility?

Velindre could house an academy a new stadium , car park and a shopping centre I think, and probably a golf course as well, the place is huge

Wasn't there a golf course application rejected for the Felindre area a while back?

I'd have to agree with nigh on everyone, if I could have one thing it'd be a massive academy/training complex. If I could have another it'd be another 5-8,000 seats...

If anything I'd have an open day tournament at the Liberty (a well organised one), so that our lazy good for nothing scouts, who never get off their fat arse's can sip their brandy, and watch the local talent on show, and see what their nepotistic fat buts are missing! But then Swansea city don't do local scouting for talent do they!.................. <laugh>
