Change one rule

OK, while we`re doing nothing.

If you could change one rule, what would it be?

Mine - This daft business of shielding the ball out of play. It`s obstruction ffs.
Make them play the bloody thing. It`s what it`s for.

Not necessarily a rule change, but the softness that yellows are given out

Remember when players were considered tough, or hard-men? dont exsist anymore, too many ****ing divers

 

What about if a ball hits your hand it's a handball , none of this he didn't mean it

 

The officials miss loads of them. Conned regularly. Often picked up later on camera though.

1 point deduction first offence, 2pts next time etc.

Elmo would have cost Hull 20 points on his own.

 

Cynical fouls eg, pulling back, tripping ( not drugs) and diving etc. Should be an automatic sending off and a three season ban. Let's have a f*cking deterrent.

Grabbing hold of opponents at corner kicks..It seems to be accepted practice these days...It is a foul and therefore a penalty for Christ's sake...I have to say that O'Shea is as guilty as anybody for this..

 

So that`s a 10 year ban for Fellaini and Hernandez. Sounds ok to me.

 

True that. Seems to be one of those things that`s become acceptable because they all do it.

 

Diving.
1st offence - 20 game ban.
2nd offence - bullet through the back of the knees.
3rd offence - legs amputated at the thigh.

There'd be a penalty every corner! Only right an all. It's like friggin Mick McManus and Adrian Street at most corners.

Bobby Moncur used to be a master at keeping blokes from backing into him at corners. He used to give them a warning, and if they did it again, he'd scrape his studs down the back of their ankle. Referee saw nowt and the offender never did it again. He used to do it regularly. Good owld Bobby!

 

A league for ref`s. 3 up 3 down.

 

When a player is being treated off the field for an injury, the other team should also be down to ten men with the player who committed the foul also off the pitch.

 

I'd book any player who argues with the referee after he's blown his whistle and made a decision.

The likes of Terry intimidate officials into thinking twice about giving decisions.

 

I can see your reasoning there. The team is gaining a temporary advantage due to foul play. Good one that.

 

Whatever happened to that thing they got from the rugby lads where the free kick was advanced for dissent? I thought that was a decent idea.

 

I would just send JT off for being JT.
