Well they say that copying someone is the greatest compliment that anyone can pay you, and after another season of failure (sigh), in an effort to be like us, ( after we revealed our Centenary Kit ) it's been announced that the owners of Kerdaft, are now going to change their kit to red, cos it reflects their national heritage. ( Where have I heard that before ?) Hence the bluebirds will become the Red tits, Malky will change his name to Brendan , the CCS will become the L2 in the hope that away supporters will be confused on the way to the Liberty and fill the empty blue seats. Obviously they'll know that they've been duped once the football starts but it'll be too late by then.
I can't see our neighbours putting up with this rebranding business. They'll go mental over there and I wouldn't blame them one bit.
"They'll go mental over there..." Haven't they already? They may not have any say in the matter. The Malaysians regard the colour red as being lucky. Blue,on the other hand is not so lucky. Well,we already knew that. Superstition seems to rule the roost out East. He who pays the piper, calls the tune. Or to put it another way,"If you sup with the devil..." Anyway,it's their problem, not ours.
Red birds ??????dont sound right to me .. Talk about losing your identity because of some foreigners superstition...
Here's the BBC link - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17996534 Don't think it will make them play any better .... they'll just be feeling blue and not have to see it every Saturday.
You really couldn't make this up! They will still not be able to play footy, so here goes then 'Red Robins' it is...............
They`ve got to put any plans of expantion back in the box for a while then !! cardiff cities falling down
