I've watched Pompey's previous 3 games and I have noticed a lot has changed, in terms of balance. In my opinion, I think Kitson should be made captain more often. In all honesty, it totally changes his game. He's always positive, determined and chases as many loose balls that are available. If that is what it takes to re-invent his game, I would hand over the arm band to him. Pompey have a good first eleven at the moment especially with the new loaners. Hogg is very good at holding the midfield which does stop a lot of through balls. The only thing he's missing is games, I hope he's given the opportunity to prove himself. Cotterill and De-Laet have this instinct that shows they link up well. Pompey's defence is also strong at the moment without a doubt.

It's like "I'm the captain so I'd better try really hard to impress the others"
Maybe we could give them all armbands.

Seriously you are right. Cotts has got a real team, us against the world, spirit on the go down here.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I'll be returning back to my home town (Portsmouth). I haven't seen them play for while, I surely will watch them at Fratton Park in the up coming weeks. <ok>

This just goes to show that, when SC has a full compliment at his disposal he has a side that can compete in this division. But we still have very little in reserve (only 6 on the bench again). However, as long as we can stay injury/suspension free, safety should beckon sooner than most of us dreamed of back in August

I've always really rated Kitson - back in his Reading days - he's going to be a Pompey grrrreat
