At the end of the day successive governments have allowed the likes of Ashley to get away with Zero Hours and Working Conditions and done f*** all to stop the ever going practices he gets up too.

 

Club issuing a statement. They really are underfire lately. Someone just needs to light that last candle.

 

Week upon weeks of bad performences at St James park, nothing not a word, an hour of regurgitated information exposing s-direct and we get a club statement, what does that say to fans.

S Direct is his weakness, thats where he doesnt want to be hit, thats what us toon and rangers fans should aim for!

 

He was probably sitting on his fat arse last night ****ting himself. Sports Direct dragged through the mud and he acts like a petulant child. Time to target Sports Direct as well.

It's all about being extremely ruthless in business, whilst keeping it legal. The policy of showing discounted prices for ALL goods on sale doesn't seem to be illegal, but just misleading, which is deemed ok. The people from the sale of goods regulation body can moan a bit - but is he bothered?

Mr Ashely will get as much profit out of all he has control of as possible. If he can take the flak and sleep at night, well it's his call. I hope Sir John and Mr Shepherd are both happy on their judgment call now they've handed our club over to him ....

 

Ultimately, they are equally to blame for the current mess.

Whether that is true or not, Shepherd was also an odious **** who I have nothing but loathing for. Every time he pops back up threatening to get involved again, I cringe.

I liked some of Mikes ideas on running a business, ruthless. He is obviously not Mr Nice guy, and its all a bit of a con, but he knows how to make money. There is carnage along the way but I'm not sure I could say I wouldn't do likewise. Perhaps not as extreme.

 

I expect that he's seen the footage already courtesy of his lawyers.

 

What I find hilarious is that he really does nothing more than exploit stupidity. That's all capitalism is, really. Look at Wonga, look at NUFC for chrissakes. I mean, the intelligent few stand up and take offence, but how many of the above-average are sucked in by his SD tactics? Not one, I'd guess. How many of the informed minority are taking out Wonga loans? Very few. It's like the moron who shouted at Charver at the match - he's been invited to Little Benton, and he's taken to Twitter to say how brilliant it is, how he cannot wait to connect with the club. I mean, FFS!! I'd be saying "about fcking time, anyone got a question they want answering?".

I mean, it's easy to gloss over facts with outrage!!

 

Probably. No doubt his lawyers have found something libellous in the programme. So much for the club providing further information/ clarification btw. Must take them a full day to come out with a pack of lies.
