Well who’d have thought our friends across the Channel would have won their first 2 games<doh>

Very early days but Reading, Bristol & Luton have 100% records (as do the snowflakes and florists<laugh>) - will the first named keep it up next saturday <yikes>

Brizzle City have been knocking on the door for the early part of a couple of seasons. Maybe this is their season. I think it'll be about continuity for them.

As for the Easr Midlands duo you mentioned, I am a bit surprised by Derby but perhaps it's a bit of poetic justice.

Swansea 2-0 up against the whipping boys of the division. We’ll probably play them when they’ve found their feet and whip our arse! :emoticon-0103-cool:

100% records still for our west country cousins (and Reading but that’s not too difficult to work out why given their stroll in the park on Saturday<doh>) PLUS still for Derby <laugh>& Forest.

Current top 6 - I wonder how many of these will be in the final top 6. Any guesses based upon what you've seen so far?

    1 Bristol City 3 5 9
    2 Reading 3 5 9
    3 Swansea 3 3 7
    4 Bournemouth 3 2 7
    5 Watford 3 2 7
    6 Blackburn 3 8 6

I've predicted promotion for The Robins of wurzleland at the start of the last three seasons. I think under the new regime, thi s will be their season. I can see them in the top two.
Our cousins from down west look difficult to beat and they may make the playoffs again - though not quite so dramatically.
Blackburn look like they mean business and although poor against us, Reading look like a team that will be there or thereabouts. I think Watford will bounce straight back and Bournemouth will make the playoffs.
Of course, we mustn't forget Norwich's penchant for a very late run.

To be honest, I don't think anyone is going to set the division on fire and I think there will be significant interest at the other end of the table.

    Good insight clingo. <ok>

Maybe I should have put the current bottom 6 up instead for our own interests this season....<laugh>

Here it is at the moment anyway. Very interesting - do you think any of these will eventually come good?

    19 Preston 3 -2 1
    20 Barnsley 3 -3 1
    21 Nottm Forest 3 -5 0
    22 Derby 3 -7 0
    23 Wycombe 3 -8 0
    24 Sheff Wed 3 0 -8

I think Wednesday will be ok. 12 points in this league is nothing. Wycombe will have the worst decision in football to make - do they oust Ainsworth in a bid to survive or keep the feel of the club regardless of relegation fears. I think they may be doomed either way with lack of resources and them not being perceived as a major club, at the heart of them not attracting new blood.
Derby and Forest could be in real trouble especially if the fans ban continues. I think that if fans had been attending, there would have been hell to pay by now, especially at Pride Park. As it stands, who knows what the owners may or may not do without the pressure from fans.
Barnsley will again blow hot and cold and I think they'll be part of the relegation battle.
Preston really surprises me. I thought they would make the playoffs last season but they fell away and have continued the slide. Personally, I hope they can stop the slide as I've always admired them.
I have a little worry about Coventry, again because of resources but for the Mole's sake, I hope they do ok.

So lots of words in both my posts saying "I don't know". The Championship eh?
