As I said dai, it sets a dangerous precedent.

The twice you went bust, there was no deterrent. Just go bust and carry on as if nothing had happened.
If there isn't significant deterrent, it will continue. They won't learn their lesson.

They certainly shouldn't change the rules part way through the process. The rule was, miss the deadline and get expelled. If the rule was 20 point deduction, that's fine, but it wasn't.
And what happens if a club goes bust that doesn't have a long history. Do you treat them differently? They don't deserve special treatment just because of their history.

SFA did it with Rangers. Took them a few seasons, but they reformed and came back.

West Brom 1 down at Fulham and Zohore is only on the bench for them.

Double substitution for Bilic on the hour and Zohore isn't one of them coming on.

1.1. Ken doesn't get off bench but another of our cast offs, Semi Ajayi, equalised.

Zohore benched again today, seems he cannot get it together. No Warnock to blame for style of play issues...wot a fugging waste of potential! Doing rather better is Ajeyi, seems we missed a trick with this fella! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I wonder what the odds are on the Stoke City manager being in his job this time tomorrow.

I always liked Richard Keogh of snowbound Derby, always thought he’d do well at Cardiff...amazed to hear that he could be out for 15 months over an alcohol filled debacle. The only positive thing to say now, is that Masky wishes him well, and that the Championship will be a more handsome League for his absence...no offence intended pal! :emoticon-0103-cool:

I was disappointed and saddened by Derby picking the two players last night involved in a very recent driving incident.
What sort of message does that send out?

I suppose they have to use them while they can.

They could well be turning out for a prison team in a couple of months. :emoticon-0172-mooni :emoticon-0172-mooni

There are kids in the crowd regarding these players as role models.

The riches afforded to them should endow them with some sense of responsibilty, but it seems sadly not. If they act irresponsibly, then it's up to the clubs involved as their employers to take the lead - Derby should be ashamed of themselves.

I thought this was a bit off too. innocent till proven guilty of course but some internal review would have found them guilty as sin and thrown out immediately. Desperate times, maybe if they don't have anyone else to come in but way off mark. There may be some case for internal fine if one of them didn't break the law in terms of drinking and driving but otherwise it would be some extreme excuse that got them off the hook.

I see Dean Saunders had his immediate 10 week jail sentence quashed and suspended for 18 months instead.

Must say I thought that sentence was a bit OTT at the time - he made a right arsehole of himself in the police station, but I've seen worse behaviour treated with a slapped wrist not clink. He got caught and deserves what he's now got.

I doubt he'll do much TV work for a while - the TV companies seem to take a tougher line than the clubs over this sort of thing.
