He was with us as a player and 2 stints as goal keeping coach.
As said, coached with England under big Sam, also at West ham and Palarse.

A head coach with a father who's a bluebird, an ex bluetit player and coach. Somethings afoot out west? :bandit:

Sorry. My earlier post should have said teams, viz, Swansea City, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield Town, Fulham, and as you correctly point out, Wales.

    The Sox cant afford Jazz.
I thought he may end up there but their bonkers managerial appt has convinced me they are in the sh!t.

Some (not all) posters on their board still don't recognise the financial mire they are in. Unless they can get the Ayews and one or two other big earners off their books it won't get any better this season. The James sale will go some way to filling the hole, but there is some way to go.
As for Cooper, it could be an inspired appointment. It could equally go horribly wrong.
Margetsons appointment will add needed experience to support him and they'll need Curtis and Briton to build bridges between the coaches and the players.
No idea what their recruitment will be.

Birch is mugging them off and their fan base is so dull they are falling for it.

They will end up in the Lower Leagues.

Anything is possible in the Championship. The Swans could end up in the play offs and Cardiff in the bottom half or vice versa. That's the beauty of the Championship.

Hi glam. Isn't it comforting to see the blobs worrying themselves sick over The Swans'?
They've clearly got too much time on their hands. <laugh>

Hey Lib....worry is a bit too strong. Concerned is more like it.....a bit like all are concerned for an invalided old geezer, sitting in a corner of the pub, and buy him a drink. People also worry how he will survive a hard winter, with no pension and no cold weather supplement.
Then again, one shouldn't forget good old schadenfreude.

The old geezer in the pub though doesnt have a bloke paid a fortune looking after him with a share of him sold off

Im not convinced their finances are as bad as made out. A lot is a hedge fund and their employee doing whats best for their financial position.

More than just worry for us Vetch - deep concern for the welfare of our neighbours. It's at times like these that we should put rivalry to one side and all pull together in an effort to avoid your 3rd administration, CVA or whatever you want to call it - it amounts to the same thing.

Your other point about having too much time across here is a blessing and a function of having a decent owner supporting our club through thick and thin. In your case, having too little time is a function of quite the opposite.

Time is running out down there at the same pace as your parachute payments. Your current owners are going to cut and run once that's gone - if not before if they can cut their losses and retrieve some of their dosh.

Ah well, enough of this doom and gloom - onto the new season. Looks like the Youth Coach v the Dinosaur is going to be fun.....<laugh><ok>
