Tomlin and Madine can’t get a start in their respective loan teams. Madine usually a late impact sub, but could be a Premier League player with the blades next season. Tomlin not so much, can’t get into a league 1 team....lazy, lazy, lazy boy! Tomlin, reminds me of Darcy Blake....wasted his career!

Saw the end of Derby v QPR. Not impressed by Derby but its all about results at this stage.

Leeds or Sheff Utd are going to be devastated going into the play offs. Villa will be under massive pressure.

Wow, Villa turn round a one goal deficit, beating West Brom 2.1 with a couple of minutes added time to go. Gayle sent off for Baggies as well.

 

Derby and WBA have it all to do after defeats today. Leeds look favourites to me, imagine Leeds in the big league...Fug me!

 

Still reckon it’s Villa. Better for City IMO if they go up.

I've never liked the play-offs anyway. Always thought the third team should go up (though happy to make an exception this season)., but I guess it's a bit more of a money spinner. But what I really hate is the penalty nonsense when a tie is played over two legs. Surely the away goal rule would be more appropriate. I have no leanings toward The Baggies or Villa, but West Brom played hard to get an away goal yet go out in a penalty lottery.

Wilfried Bony is to leave Swansea City, alongside club captain Leroy Fer.
Two more players whose contracts are up next month, Sweden defender Martin Olsson and Dutch wing Luciano Narsingh, will also depart on free transfers.
Between them, the quartet cost Swansea more than £20m in transfer fees.

 

The money they spent has gone.
The upside will be £90k a week OFF the wage bill with bony going.

There are 4 others they want shot of to clear another £150k off the wage bill, including tge Ayew brothers.

 

Looks like a fire sale. Whoever their new manager is will have a threadbare squad to kick off with.

 

I'm sure it's the reason potter left.
He seems a good manager, but he's not a miracle worker.
I think things probably took a different path on a player front from that described to him when he joined.
Shifting bony and others will have helped. Not sure they plugged last year's shortfall, and there's another £30M (?) drop this year.

 

Hughton or Coleman or maybe a return for John Hollins or bring back the old reliable Alan Curtis

 

Potters just got a relegated team to 11th.

Russell Slade had no pre season and got Cardiff to the same position. He also didnt spend the amount Potter did.

But Potter somehow is some genius who gets a PL job. I dont get it

 

Coleman is a good shout. Don't know what their fans think.
