ENTRIES now being taken for the 2011/12 TOP SIX POINTS CHALLENGE on the following link: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/62955-Top-Six-Points-Challenge-ENTRY?p=753703#post753703 Early entries now being taken for this fun game to allow for those of you who might be going on holidays over the next few weeks. ================================================== ====== HOW IT WORKS and RULES You are requested to select the TOP SIX teams and the POINTS they will end up with at the end of the CHAMPIONSHIP season. Only 1 RULE this season – the 6th placed team you forecast MUST be 70 points or MORE. (Average 6th place team over many seasons is around 72/74pts) SCORING is simple …1 point for every point you are away from the final totals of each team. If you forecast WEST HAM to get 80 points and they get 90 you score 10 points. OR… if they get 78 you score 2 points. So you need to be accurate and if you are really keen, do some research over past seasons. A good reference site is http://stats.football365.com/ The LOWEST score will be the winner. Last years winning entry was as follows with a final score of 44 points: Team.. Forc. .Pts……Score MIDD…..90 … (62)…28pts NORW… 88 … (84)…4pts QPR…... 84 … (88)…4pts NOTT... 80 … (75)…5pts READ…. 76 … (77)….1pt LEED.....74 … (72)…2pts Middlesborough let nearly all entries down last year, but the winning entry was still very good. Best winning score over last 4 years was an exceptional 22pts ========================================== Full details and rules on HOW TO ENTER are on the link posted above. That is the only thread that can take your entries.
