Strange one the defence stopped us conceding against Coventry. It wasn't Guzan's doing. Not a fan of Guzan tbh, he seems to flap at everything coming into the box and doesn't give me confidence.
Eh? I can't remember him having a difficult save to make? He took a few crosses nicely (something I had previous concerns about with him). How crap were the other keepers this week? The Coventry guy deserved it more than him - couple of good saves from the one-on-ones with Fryatt and McLean
Ironically, he probably will be ours in a couple of months. He's not been bad, but he's not a patch on Mannone, who I'm sure we'll also try and sign.
Darn it Andros Townsend went to Millwall , I liked the cut of his Jib when he was at Ipswich .Pity we could have done with his 100% effort on our Left .Spurs certainly have some promising younger players coming through.
if anything he nearly cost the game by dropping 2 crosses ..and had to be bailed out by gerrard and chester....strange one..
I rate Guzan very highly, but have to agree Mannone would be a far better buy. Of course, the question is with Arsenal's goalkeeping crisis will l'arse be willing to sell him? Knowing his 'philosiphy' they won't be aquiring a keeper in the Summer, so he may want Mannone as cover for Sczencsy/Fabianski For team of the week, surely Rosenior had to be in with a shout - I know we've become used to his consistency, but yet again his defensive performance for such an attacking full back didn't fail to impress. Fantastic considering he hadn't trained all week
