Guess every other keeper this weekend was a bit crap, as OLM said, he did nowt apart from one save. Maybe the people who made this are the same lot who wrote the article in MK's local paper?
Shows how much faith you can put in the Championship team of the week, does it really bear any resemblance to the truly best performances in each individual position? As an aside reading the press after the weekend premier league games there was a fair bit of talk about the difference a good goalkeeper can make-cue Butlands performance for Stoke. If we are going to get promotion this season, will we stick with McGregor? Maybe at some point it will be time to get our own Butland, or De Gea or at least something close to them? Surprised we did not go for the Southend keeper. Anyone know how he has been performing this season?
Usually whoscored.com has the best ratings. I believe Dawson and Davies are in the Team of the Season so far, and Dawson, Elmo and Meyler made the October Team of the Month.
Odd that they've put Blackman on the wing and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas up front when Blackman is a striker and J-E-T is a winger.
Blackmon is playing on the (front) right of a 4-3-3 - I'd say you'd be equally right/wrong to call him a striker or winger. Neither term quite reflects that role properly.
Blackman is actually a midfielder whom Reading have been playing up front, but as various stat sites list him as a midfielder he'll automatically be put there in stuff like this.
Even more staggering is that J-E-T is included at all? Whenever I have seen him he looks totally ****e.
Reminds me of Sammy Ameobi, never quite seems to be in control of his legs or sure what he's doing/attempting...
I thought Blackman was a striker. Isn't he that black boy they spent a bit on a few years ago when in the prem? What happened to the other black boy they bought who we had on loan right at the end of the season once?
5 goals in 7 games for Hernandez in October. I am surprised at his lack of inclusion. Him and Gray are absolutely on fire.
