Created the most chances in the football league? Wow. That doesn't say anything about the quality of the chances though, which may be what's costing us.
Suggests to me that there may not be too much to worry about, although two goals in five games does tell an entirely different story. However, as long as the chances keep coming I firmly believe we'll go straight back up.
I agree that, on the face of it, we have little to worry about. We are creating so many chances things will surely take a turn for the better.
Given that we have 3 new strikers, their output should increase with experience, both for them and their colleagues. A few goals will build confidence and things will improve.
Lies, damn lies and ............., so against the worst two defences statistically (Birmingham and Leeds) we have amassed two goals and two points! Bolton are in that same grouping so hopefully we can produce a better return on Friday night.
