Is it really any worse that having for example Andre Ayew for one season then flitting off as did Michu etc , I know we'll have to go through the whole rigmarole again next season but this transfer window maybe enough to keep us up . My bigger concern is managerial stability , I have faith in Clement who's proving to be a valuable asset to the Club and his stock is going to raise can we keep him ?

Imo very much so Matt. Ayew was our player and the club were able to make £25m when sold. Llorente we can sell for £15+m. Michu was different because serious injury predicted his outcome.

The owners have sold the squads assets to make and save money, interchanging them with cheaper options. Now the owners are looking to rent ballast for the squad by loaning young, green talent in the hope that they might be able to perform near their potential. Just shows how naive our dumb owners are and also shows their intention. Why buy players when we can rent some?

We've rented Abraham and Sanchez from their respective clubs on a wing and a prayer. Problem is no matter how hopeful we want to be neither is capable of performing any where near their potential because they are so inexperienced.

Next summer the owners have no Siggy to sell, no Llorente to sell and they'll lose one of our two strikers and a midfielder they've paid for all season for nothing. Where are the owners going to make their money next year? We complained about losing assets this year, next year there wont be any left because the owners will have concentrated their money on cheap rentals that yields no return. Clement has wasted a year of his coaching talents training up other clubs players. Next year any player coming in will be far cheaper than those who've come this year, or the owners might try to wing it again by renting some more YTS kids on loan.

The forecast for next Summer looks bleak already.

SSN reporting Bony to have medical this afternoon, which will release Llorente. As rumoured, he wanted to go to Italy, but Citeh blocked loan move, so us it is. Bit of a mess of a situation..

Surely wilth all the time taken on this, suspect that'll be it after Sanches.

The running costs of our squad has been cut significantly, which will free up capital for whatever agenda the Yanks are up to, what worries me is that with Llorente going will we replace him or just rely on Abraham? If so that would mean we will be without a serious striker of our own going into the season, not to mention injuries, which is a big gamble, what is taking so long with the Bony transfer?, are we waiting again for the Llorente sale? this is just irresponsible madness, given the previous funds received for Siggy.

The Striker position is imperative to PL status, playing around with it like a bunch of amateurs, is a recipe for disaster, Llorente should not go unless the Bony deal is sealed...............<ok>

Your post crossed with my last post, your comments makes sense, though I question Bony's commitment now, with him wanting to go out on loan to Italy, only to secure his unearned Citeh wages, the guy needs to realise he's not worth half what Citeh are paying him, at least Citeh have got him off their wage bill, just hope we don't pay over the odds, the guy is starting to piss me off.............<ok>

Must admit I have mixed feelings on this now, given he preferred to go to Italy, at least Clement won't put up with bullshit from him in training, either he pulls his finger out for us and salvage his own career, or we will be sending him down the same path as Gomis...............<ok>

Bony comes in Abraham plays off him = survival maybe ?
Llorente also stays = mid table at least ?
What ambitions do the yanks have here ??
