I'd do it.I wasn't saying I would do it, just thinking out loud. But we have to look at parachute payments and if relegated he would be sold anyway so wouldn't have his wages.

Gylfi worth £50m ? Not on your life. But we must get the most we can, £30m is more than enough and i would not pay that for a player who has failed in a top club before. He looks good with us because he is the best we have and does not take much to shine but if he joins a club with better players then he would be a bench player after a few games....We need to keep him but Gylfi will have a lot to say if we scupper his £130,000+ a week wage offer.... This is not the end of this saga by a long way i feel...
Would it ? We would lose 3 players, and replace them with 3 lesser players (probably). It makes no sense to me to sell our best players in order to strengthen.£80m for Gylfi, Mawson and Llorente would allow us to seriously strengthen the team in defence and attack.
Of course, it depends on Clement getting the full £80m to spend. Imaging how strong the team could be with 4-5 real quality signings. It would also give us serious depth as 4-5 starters from last year would end up on the bench.

We should keep those and strengthen, but I doubt that would happen.Would it ? We would lose 3 players, and replace them with 3 lesser players (probably). It makes no sense to me to sell our best players in order to strengthen.

JC gone?
£11m bid accepted apparently. He was poor last season, so that's not a bad bit of business imo.
Nooooo, could not get a ticket from any source sadly, always this coming season for a quick flyoverExcellent post one which may will agree with I'm sure but one question :
Did you manage to come over all the way from Oz to watch the Swans![]()
I dont like the idea of selling Cork , but there seems to be no room for him . He will play well elsewhere if he goes IMO but Mesa , Carroll , Siggy , Fer, Britton , and Ki will be tough for Cork to break through . Going to be our loss more than his..BUT 5 or 6 million profit will soothe the pain

much of a muchness, would rather go to the Liberty to watch a PL game than the USA to watch a friendly (never been to Wales and USA is def NOT on my bucket list)Wouldn't it be easier/cheaper for you to fly to America for a pre season game?
In HJ we trust3 mill spent on Cork for 11 mill sale, good business
