http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/predictor/default.stm I know it's been done before, but I just done it being honest with what I think the scores will be and Made us safe! Barnsley in **** form have a nasty run in, I think we are probably the easiest game they have left!
Yep i keep playing around with it and sometimes were safe, sometimes were not, but every time i do it Barnsley are always down there For some reason on the link they haven't updated yesterdays results so were still in the relegation zone? ive just done it and we finished with 47 points and coventry 45
I got that as well 47 just below Forest on goal difference But I got bottom three Millwall Portsmouth Doncaster With Barnsley just above them!
I'd have a go out of interest BUT.... I have a mate who runs a prediction website called the "Correct Score League". There are around 40 people who take part and we all have to try and guess the score in 10 games spread across all the leagues every weekend. He picks games involving the teams that someone in the group supports to make it more interesting. Over the years I have been doing it no-one has ever ended the season with much more than 50% of the predicted results correct (that's correct result (Home/Away/Draw) not correct score). So I know that however hard you try you just have to sit back and see what happens. Predicting football is a mug's game - which is why we all love it!
As you say yesterday not updated. I got Pompey, Donny and Millwall relegated. Also had Saints up as Champions and West Ham second (beating Reading on GD by 1 goal!) - Blackpool, Cardiff and Birmingham in play-off's
I've seen that correct score league predictor someone in work does it, I tried for a bit and always got it wrong so gave up, as you said if it was that easy we would be taking he bookies every week. Football has a funny habit of throwing a spanner in the works! Hate the end of season when we have to work out all these scores, blows my mind. Win tomorrow and match Covs results with one blip and we should be safe.
