Going back to the close season,I wrote an article along the lines that Bruce had bought a team of championship players and sold our crown-jewel players, such as Bent and Henderson. We sold quality and brought in quantity, and I was worried at the time.I'm not worried now...I'm panicked!!Bruce complains that we are not taking our chances..perhaps if he played strikers up-front,we would do_Oh,sorry,he sold all our prolific strikers, but, never mind,we have a young striker in the reserves, who scored a hat-trick against Newcastle reserves...but old Brucie won't give him a chance.Bruce is wasting our club, costing us loads in the transfer-market and taking us down to the championship. But,hey, never mind,he bought us championship players in the close-season...such as Gardener, who he won't even pick.We should have had champions-league aspirations for the future...not championship aspirations. The only good that should come out of our last two games is that Bruce should be sacked!!

Bruce is a Championship manager mate what did you expect?
Got to agree with what you said though.

I don't see the loss of Henderson as being such a big deal. £15+ million for him was an absolute steal. In my opinion, Colback is a better player - at least he gets forward much more. Bent, I can't argue with, as that's the very thing we're missing: a proven goalscorer. If that's Bruce's fault is another matter.

I think, if we had a decent goalscorer, the whole outlook would be different. That's not to say it's not time for a change. Maybe we've reach the end of the line with Bruce?

Barry, which other manager would sell his best strikers??Bent and Gyan both got sold.We don't know why...could it be that they both didn't like the idea of being a lone-striker under a negative manager??

I dont agree at all im afraid, we have a bloody good team, and the ones he has sold (Keanes rejects) are mostly plying their trade in the championship now, we have Brown, O`Shea, Sess, Bendnter, Larsson, Richardson, (now i am struggling lol) who are all better than championship standard imho.

You say we have a bloody good team, blackcatsteve. Is that the same team that cant beat Fulham at home and who lost to the mighty Wigan at home??Yes,Brown,Sess,O'Shea, and Larsson are not that bad....but Bendnter is only on loan.We have a poorer team now than when Bruce took over, and he's spent a bloody fortune. We must get shot of him now!!

We have several decent players who are capable on certain days of a decent performance, but can't do it collectively as a team.
