The court heard that Hall retaliated to racist comments made to him, and that he suffered a broken jaw in the altercation.[6] Southend United insisted the player would not be sacked.[7] On 4 March 2011 Hall was granted bail pending an appeal against the severity of the sentence,[8] and his sentence was reduced to 12 weeks, with the sentence suspended for a year, and 150 hours of community service.[9]
So I'd rather have the Leeds Rhino winger, and he can keep his temper. Even Dowie and Peter Taylor didn't pick this guy. He may be ok at Southend level but he has had and blown chances higher up. What makes you think he'll suddenly make the grade at 24 years old? Sorry, just doesn't do it for me.

So what's done is done, he's got talent. If other clubs don't care then why should we? Most footballers are idiots, but if he took us to the PL, then I doubt anybody would remember that stuff.
He's got previous - Hall caused controversy after being involved in a fracas at a five-a-side football tournament, which resulted in a security guard being hospitalised with facial injuries.
Fair comment, me too. But I don't think this is the first time he's been in trouble for being too quick with his fists.
