Who in the Championship, League 1 & League 2 would you like to see succeed and who do you want to fail miserably - and why? For me.. Championship to succeed - Cardiff City. Bit of a pseudo Bluebird (Red Dragon) with many CCFC buddies on here. To fail - Leicester City. Spent far too much money getting nowhere. L1 to succeed - Preston. I was really disappointed when they went down, more so they didn't come straight back up. I liked they way they played in the Championship when they were in the top 8 or so places. To fail - Crawley. Lets chuck money about merchants also. L2 to succeed - Wycombe Wanderers. Like their fans and their kit! To fail - Barnet. Dreadful team with a dreadful ground - get rid
rather than who i want to succeed and fail, i'll go with who i believe will, otherwise everyone say ipswich will fail L2 - rotherham united to succeed - brand spanking 'new york stadium', big potential at that club to become a sustainable championship club L2 - bradford city to fail - perennial underachievers and i just wonder if their time is up in league football L1 - carlisle united to succeed - doubt they'll win the division (surely sheff utd will this time) but got some good players up there and a very good manager L1 - colchester united to fail - this is based entirely on their current squad (what's left of it) and not on anything that happened in the past CH - brighton and hove albion to succeed - everything is in place for an assault on the premier league. i think it'll happen for them next season CH - bristol city to fail - a club who were pronouncing big things two years ago are on the verge of meltdown on and off the pitch. rock bottom next year i reckon
Just 2 clubs.Bolton to fail because of their greedy chairman who wanted relegation banned from the Prem a while back.I bet he wont vote that in now the tosser. Always had a soft spot for Torquay so would love to see them do well.
Love to see Leicester struggle in the Championship as they have overspent and put the company that built their new ground into liquidation to avoid themselves going into financial meltdown. For promotion - Blackpool as I like their style of play and it was a shame that Wet Sham did for them in the play-off final. D1 - Colchester to go because of that idiot Mike and a s*it pitch and ground name. To come up no real cares D2 - Promote Fleetwood - new boys could make a go of it To go Barnet - lucky to escape last time and they are really poor in all respects.
Don't support any other team. Don't like or dislike any other team. All have supporters who worship them the same as we worship NCFC. Good luck to everyone next season and as long as we are more successful than at least three other Prem teams I'll be happy.
Come on Cambridge Utd.... I want them to do well and get promoted apart from that I couldn't give a toss!
I don't particularly dislike any of the teams I have said I wanted to see fail but I would like them to fail this season all the same. Logic or anything else just doesn't come in to it!
you must have loved dion modelling their shirt new the other day! please log in to view this image must confess, they are my conference team - always look out for their results. its about time they got back into the league. its been a long wait...
i'd like to see either camb or luton back in the football league for sure. luton have been knocking at the door, and have lost the last two play off finals. league 2 - don't really know enough about it league 1 - sheff utd to get promoted back to the championship championship - promoted - Blackpool, Brighton and Cardiff
I too would quite like to see Cambridge back in the football league and have often intended to go to a match when Norwich have played away but I've never got round to it unfortunately.
Cambridge Utd, Histon, Lowestoft Town and Bury Town I want them all to do well, just can't stand Luton!
i do go and watch lowestoft sometimes. got a really good side down there now and keep knocking on the door (blasted play offs )
i'd like crewe to do well - based on them seeming to have a good record with developing decent talent - would be interesting to see what they could do with a bit more money... gillingham I quite like but couldn't tell you why... swindon because I love di canio's antics and because I remember feeling sorry for them in that early prem season...with you on cambridge - they were my second team as a kid - taking them to the prem on champ manager with the likes of revell and adam tann... - blackpool - like what they're trying to do and think holloway is great viewing on occasion - not too many teams I want to do badly - only the big clubs so that it might lead to some sort of shake up...I don't want Leeds to go anywhere, up or down - eternally 14th would do me. For me they still have time to serve.
I really hope they go one better next season! Bury have got a decent chance next season as well so I'm hoping for a Suffolk Treble!
Bury Town & Cambridge, I know a lot of the bury boys and the backroom staff. As for league teams, Torquay have been a favourite with me (nothing to do with Hell Bells, honest missus Guru!) and Chesterfield because i like that part of the country. Teams i hope fail, Preston because the place is a ****ing ****hole!
Bury are having to trim numbers down on the playing side, which could go against them. but have a good set up with the academy so hopefully the young kids will step up a couple of leagues quite easily!
