Wow, what a day Saturday was, the rainham end going mad, Stuart Nelson dancing woefully and Martin Allen grinning like a Cheshire cat! I thought the atmosphere was the best its been all season including away fans as AFC Wimbledon supporters were absolutely outstanding. I believe without that wonderful support they wouldn't have got a point, the fans 100% got behind their team and fair play to them! There were no bad performances on Saturday but I thought a certain player stood out and that was Steven Gregory-had a wonderful game and spread the play very well! I hope he plays that Jack Payne role as unfortunately I believe Andy Frampton will move on in the summer as being one of several released by Martin Allen. I'm hoping that Martin Allen plays the youngsters against Burton, players like MCKain, Dack, East and Heysman I'd like to see get a run out! And finally, CHAMPIONES CHAMPIONES OLE OLE OLE!

Sorry...I want to see the season finish with at least a draw. Pre season is the time to try out new blood........and to show repect for Burton. We have a fantastic away record and need to keep it going for one more game.

Frampton will get a new deal. He brings so much to the squad in and off the pitch. Very versatile and never lets anyone down. No one has even mentioned his 2 darts up the field on Saturday to set up Whelpdale for the crosses for the 2 goals. For me, Frampton stays.

gfc1234 - I have to say I don't often agree with many of your posts but I completely agree with you on this one. There is no messing about with Framps, yes like my ageing years you become slower but not everything is about pace. Good ole' fashioned warrior pure and simple.

When I first heard that Frampton was to be playing at left back, it really worried me that we would be in the same boat as we were last year when we played Lawrence at Right Back. However fair play to Framps I think he played exceptionally well there and his darting runs took ten years off of his age. Framps, Barrett and Gregory were the stand out players for me on saturday.

I definitely don't want us to get beat against Burton, I say play a mixture of experience and inexperience. There are a few players that only just made it Saturday and I don't think there is much point in playing them as they've done their job. As for whether Frampton will play for us next season,I can't see him playing instead of Gregory as I think Martin Allen sees Gregory playing regularly next season but who knows, the players released last summer were a surprise to me . One player that is nailed on to leave though is Tommy Forecast.
