Methinks I shall be partaking of some Jura or even Bushmills both smooth tipples, especially the older ones.
I did get a 20 case of Boddies for under £14 at Asda mind.

The 'fiddich is a rather nice gargle, but just canna get away with the Islays! Prob THE nicest tipple I've had in a long while was off my mates flask at half time last winter... he'd managed to get hold of some 50 yr old 'morangie!! My goodness, I nearly offered to have his babies <Shock>
Aye I can just about abide Glenmorangie.
My son and daughter in law got me Laphroiag for xmas a couple of years ago. (tastes worse than Listerine)
Told them at the time it was ****e, guess what they got me xmas just gone?????
I always have some Bells or Teachers in for guests who put mixers in their whisky, no way are they getting the good stuff then pouring gingerbeer on top.
I have converted a couple of mates by getting them to try a good malt on it's own.
Too many people base their opinions on whisky on trying to drink neat Bells.
