<wah>Didn't want to be in the champions league anyway. Qualifying for the next year's champions league is far more rewarding that participating in the current champions league dontcha know?

Finishing top 4 is far more rewarding than playing in the CL. You get to play CL by finishing top 4... What do you get for playing CL? JACK ALL!!!

    Sporting play tomorrow IIRC

Celtic would be good for pot 3, as not too far to travel. Hopefully Feyenoord for pot four for the same reason.

Pot 1 a bit tricky - either a top side like Real, Bayern or Juve, or a long trip to Shaktar or Spartak. Probably Benfica would be best as a compromise.

In all honesty I haven't missed CL in recent seasons.

Bayern, Barca, Napoli, Celtic - that's a possible draw

Imagine Celtic's goal difference after game 6 <laugh>

    For info -

Simon Gleave, head of analysis at Gracenote Sports, says pot two is the strongest, with Uefa's regulations meaning league winners go directly into pot one.
The other pots are decided by the Euro Club Index, an objective ranking of team quality across Europe.
"Manchester City and Manchester United are in the best place to be," said Gleave. "This is due to the champions of the non-big five leagues now getting access to pot one which weakens its overall strength.
"Russian champions Spartak Moscow are ranked 48th in Europe by the Euro Club Index. This makes them weaker than any pot two team, the whole of pot three bar Anderlecht and two teams - CSKA and Sporting - in pot four.
"The team to avoid in pot three is Napoli who are currently ranked in the top-eight clubs in Europe by the Euro Club index, on a par with the best teams in the Premier League."
