We did it yesterday a very good performance against Tottenham. 20th Championships in the bag. We are currently on 82 points, if we can collect 12 more points we are going to be on 94 points which will be impressive. Chelsea wants to finish in the top four and play in the champions league next season.

I think this game is more important than it looks.

Chelsea tend to rival us in the transfer market (if nothing else) so it's in our best interests to stop them from qualifying for the CL.

Also they ended our CL qualification hopes by beating us In 2003, 2010 and 2015 so would be nice to have the shoe on the other foot. Even a draw will do.

As per the Premier League’s official announcement, Chelsea’s game against Liverpool will be officiated by Simon Hooper.
Adrian Holmes and Simon Long will be the assistant referees, whilst John Brooks will be in charge of VAR for the standout fixture of the weekend’s games

Hooper has refereed two Chelsea games this season so far, with those being wins at home over Newcastle United and Wolves.

These games have not been short of cards though. The Blues have picked up 10 bookings across those matches, with their opponents racking up five.

Last season though, James was sent off in a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle, again officiated by Hooper. The England international’s second yellow came following a mistake, where he pulled back Anthony Gordon after a miscontrol.
