He was pretty average against Bolton in the CC and showed that he is only a kid. Also we do not have that many players injured at the moment so its hard for him to even get a place on the bench. Wenger said that he needs to learn a few things and that it will take time before he can an impact week in week out. He should get a few games now though. Might play against City in the carling cup and will play in the last CL game.
Clearly he is one for the future and especially with the run of form that the team is on just now there is no chance of him starting. I think that himself miyachi and joel campbell will all break into the first team next season. Wenger will try to use them as much as possible in the carling cup etc but he will have an idea by the end of the season on whether or not they are ready to make the step up next season.
You have to assume that the flash in the pan start has not been maintained in training? Else why is he not given a chance.
